Zimbabwean artist Kudzanai Chiurai’s theses range from government corruption to displacement. His Africa art collection addresses aspects of a constructed African state that has just been ravaged by conflict. It depicts what appears to be a dinner table, with a multitude of problematic situations surrounding it. The ‘Revelations’ collection also explores how the West perceives Africa, as well as questions the contemporary African condition by examining the past and present of a continent in constant civil war, using both his painting and photography skills.
